• Esperanza Student Council 

    Esperanza Student Council includes members from grades 3 through 5. Representatives are elected in their classes by their peers based on leadership qualities and strengths. Officers are elected by the Student Council representatives at the beginning of the year. Student Council students must show a great deal of responsibility by taking notes at monthly meetings and delivering oral presentations to their classmates in an effort to keep all students involved and informed.

    Meetings are held monthly on Wednesdays after school.

    All Student Council members are expected to:
    circle bullet Demonstrate superior leadership skills
    circle bullet  Be in good standing with classroom responsibilities, including homework completion
    circle bullet  Be an effective oral speaker
    circle bullet Write clear and organized notes to share with classmates
    circle bullet  Show up for events on time and follow through with assigned tasks

    Mallet Band

    Our 5th grade mallet instrument ensemble performes world, classical and pop music at school and community events throughout the year.
