    CHANDLER - When it comes to educating, Arizona teachers are always working to find ways to connect with their students. Several new teachers in the Kyrene School District can honestly say they’ve been right where their students are today.

    Kyrene offers both “Cut” and “Non-Cut” sports for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Cut sports include: cheer, soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, and baseball. The Non-Cut athletic opportunities include cross country, wrestling, and track & field.

  • Understanding AzMERIT Student Results

    Last spring, students in grades 3 through 8 participated in Arizona’s Measures of Educational Readiness to Inform Teaching (AzMERIT) assessments. Please know the state’s goal in changing from AIMS to AzMERIT was to measure students’ mastery of Arizona’s College and Career Readiness Standards.

  • Community Education provides quality before/after school programs

    Choose from a variety of academic classes and recreation activities offered throughout the school year and during school breaks. Programs are designed to develop the “whole child” and support student achievement. Customized for various ages: elementary, middle school, early learners and adults with flexible days/times for busy schedules.

  • Pueblo Students visit with Sunrise Senior Living

    We have invited Seniors to our campus on a number of occasions. Senior Residents come and join us on Saturday mornings where dozens of students spend time walking with them around campus or in our gym, enjoying breakfast together, and sharing stories about what it was like to grow up 60 years ago and what it is like growing up now.
