About The Teacher
Hi, my name is Nicole Pedace and I will be teaching in the
extended resource classroom. I student-taught in the Gilbert school district
for a full-year and split my time between a 6th grade classroom and
an elementary resource room. I graduated from ASU in May and am extremely excited to begin my teaching career at Esperanza. I have only lived in Arizona for four years and am originally from Wisconsin. In Wisconsin I worked for three years at a residential school for students with severe behavioral challenges. I loved my work there, but it was there that I decided I really wanted to become a teacher. My passion in life is teaching students with disabilities and I am so excited that I am able to have a career that I love. When I am not teaching, I love hanging out with my animals. I have three dogs (a Great Dane, Cattle Dog, and Yorkie mix) and 2 cats. I also love hiking, photography, and camping.
