Dear parents and students,

 

I am excited for the start of the 2017-2018 school year.  C.I. Waggoner Elementary is a great place to teach and learn. Our mission is to create an innovative, nurturing and motivating environment in which to produce successful learners who will make a positive difference in their world.

 

My childhood and background began in the midwest.  I was born and raised in Wisconsin and earned my special education teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.  I began my special education career in early childhood.  Moving to New Mexico, my focus changed to teaching students in an elementary self-contained classroom.  My arrival in Arizona brought me to the Kyrene School District and C.I. Waggoner Elementary School.  I am looking forward to beginning my 17th year as a resource teacher at this great school.

 

Life is filled with surprises around every corner and new lessons to learn each day. I have truly enjoyed all of my experiences with staff, parents, and students.
