• What is the IB?

"The International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes strive to develop students who will build a better world through intercultural understanding and respect. What makes the IB different from other programmes is that the IB encourages students to think critically and challenge assumptions, develop multilingual students, encourage students to consider both local and global contexts."

There are four programmes within the IB.  KMS has been accepted into the candidacy phase of the Middle Years Programme (MYP).  "This programme helps students to ask challenging questions, think critically, develop research skills proven to help them in higher education, become active in their communities, and take their learning beyond academic study and into the real world."

KMS has been a wall-to-wall programme since our first year of candidacy with the MYP.
