I was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio, just outside of Columbus. I am an Ohio State fan through and through. GO BUCKS! Growing up sports were always a huge part of my life. I played soccer, basketball and track in high school and continued my athletic career in college running track for Butler University for two years and then transferring to ASU to finish my career. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State in 2005. Prior to graduation I began coaching. I started coaching lacrosse at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe. After coaching at Corona for 3 years, I decided that I wanted to work with middle school athletes and that is when I found Altadeña.
I began coaching and teaching at Altadeña in 2006 and have been here ever since. I am highly qualified to teach 1st-8th grade, middle school math, middle school science and physical education. While I love sports, I fell in love with the structure that you have as a teacher in the classroom and the greater impact I am able to make in the lives of all my students, not just the athletes I coach.
I am looking forward to an amazing year this year, I know we are going to have a blast!!
