I appreciate all the work that you are doing!!!  Having a well-rounded education is very important for your future success in life.

4/27 Addition: Lesson 3 was changed to "no grade" from extra credit, due to the fact that it was artificially inflating student grades due to the fact that there were very few grades to balance it.  I will change it back to extra credit at the end of the semester, when it will more accurately reflect the progress of the students.  I apologize for the confusion!  I am learning too!
    Week 4/26 Announcements:
Make sure you have read all recent announcments below.

Complete Lessons 9-12 in google classroom.  Submit assignments with work on them only!!  DO NOT SUBMIT BLANK DOCUMENTSPlease delete any blank documents before you submit!!!

    4/23 NOTE!
Late work will not be put into the gradebook due to the amount of ongoing assigned work that requires feedback.
    4/22
Lesson 3 will be for extra credit, so that everyone gets used to the district policy for grading.  Therefore, some grades will be overinflated for a bit, but will come back into line once more assignments are in the gradebook.  Since I am having questions about the district grading policy, I have included it here for review.
    • Will students be graded on 4th quarter assignments?

Assignments are not graded. However, teachers will review the assignments in order to provide feedback to students and share progress information with parents, as needed.

While assignments are not graded, teachers will be tracking lesson participation with the following scale. The number of lessons per week varies. There are generally 4 lessons per week in core subjects, 2 lessons per week in World Languages, and 1 lesson per week in electives.

      • 2 = completion of lesson assignments
      • 1 = partial completion of lesson assignments
      • no score = unable to complete lesson assignments

Parents of students in grades 4–8 will be able to view participation ratings in ParentVUE. Parents of students in grades K–3 can request participation rating information directly from your child’s teacher.

    4/21 Addition: AR=Regular science, and AE=Advanced science
    4/21 Tuesday:
