    About The Teacher
     
    Welcome Estrella Families, I am excited to be a part of Norte in our Cross-Categorical Developmental Sensory (CCDS) classroom.
      I was born and raised in Northern Arizona. I attended Northern Arizona University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I obtained a Master's Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.
      I started out my teaching career in Glendale, Az where I taught for 2 years in a Middle School Self-Contained Special Education Classroom. This is my 4th year with Kyrene De la Estrella but this year I took a new position. Previously I was the Extended Resource Developmental Disabilities Teacher now I am the CCDS Teacher. I am really excited for what this new position brings.
