Sharing Art with Our Community
Cerritos Artists share their art work.

During the school year there are several
opportunities for out-of-school exhibits.
One opportunity comes from YOUNG ARTS, ARIZONA Ltd.,
a non-profit organization advocating children’s art. Forty art
pieces are selected for exhibit at various locations. One of these
venues is the Phoenix Art Museum Student Gallery with a reception
for parents and family on opening night. This art stays at the
Museum for approximately one-two months then rotates to other venues
around the Valley before being returned to Cerritos’ students.
Another venue is YOUNG ARTS, ARIZONA’s own Purple
Space Gallery located in downtown Phoenix. This gallery is open to
the public and participates in Phoenix’s “First Fridays” Art Walk.

Other exhibit opportunities include the Arizona
Department of Education and Tempe Arts Council for Youth Annual Art
Fair.
Cerritos students are proud to share their art work
with the community!
