Parents please note:

1) All dates on this page are subject to change.  Your child should have the most current information written in his/her agenda.  If you have specific questions, you can email me at vmiddleton@kyrene.org

2) Please be aware that some assignments we do in class are for a grade, but they are not listed on an objective sheet.

3) The Pueblo homework policy is explained below.

4) Each student should have a three-ring binder with four dividers.  Please click here for details on how   students should have their binder organized.  We have gone over it in class, and we will review it regularly.

5) If you were not able to join us for Curriculum Night, please click here for a brief overview of what you     missed.

6) I am the parent contact person for the team, so feel free to call me (480.783.2453) or email

    me.

7) If there is anything going on that could be impacting your child’s learning, please let the team know.

You don’t have to tell us what it is, but this way we can give your son/daughter some extra attention.

8) Visit teacher web pages and the parent portal regularly to see how your child is doing in each of their

    classes.

Please consider the environment before printing any documents.

Pueblo Homework Guidelines:

Sparky says, "Don't blame the dog if you don't have your homework!!!"

1.  Daily/routine assignments will not be accepted late. This applies to Basic objectives in SS.  This also applies to projects completed in class.  Late work will not be accepted.

2.  Extended assignments will have points deducted if late.   This applies to Standard objectives in SS.  Students can turn in work up to a week late.  After a week, they will earn a zero.  If they do turn it in late, the best grade they can earn is a 70%.

3.  Some assignments will still need to be completed.  This applies to practice homework assignments in SS.  You will complete the work in ASI.  Practice homework is not listed on the web page.  Students should have it copied into their agenda.  Class time is provided each day to do so.  If a student is absent/he or she will be responsible to get it upon return.
