TACO

TACO stands for Totally Anonymous Cleaning Organization. TACO began during the 2008-2009 school year by a conscientious 7th grader who wanted to show that he was a person of character.
TACO meets every other Thursday, beginning on September 3rd, from 3:15 - 4:15pm. We meet in Mrs. Dale's room, B11. The meeting dates are below.
Here is a description of the club, written by the founder, Anthony. "The main purpose of TACO (Totally Anonymous Cleaning Organization) was to originally build a better school environment for our community. Since then TACO has evolved into an eco-friendly club with the intention to collect and dispose of recyclable material. (In other words, we recycle. Yeah, we're just that awesome!)"
TACO also cleans up campus by cleaning science supplies, picking up trash, scraping gum, and organizing storage closets. Yes, students who are scraping gum wear gloves and use scrapers. Additionally, they are required to wash their hands thoroughly.
TACO is open to anyone attending Akimel A'al Middle School. However, a student must have a permission slip on file with Mrs. Dale to stay after school. To download and print a permission slip, please click here.
