When all the students in a class period earn at least 80% on a test, they earn a Torture Mrs. Dale Day (TMDD). During the 2008-2009 school year 1 class earned a TMDD. They made get up in front of the entire 7th grade during lunch and tell jokes as though I was a stand up comedian. It was so embarrassing!
During the 2007-2008 school year, 3 of my 4 classes earned a TMDD (second hour earned two of them!). See the pictures below.
The rules for TMDD include:
1. it can not cost me any money
2. the students must do all the organizing and planning; this should not increase my To Do list for the day
3. you can change my appearance for that day only
4. only activities that do not cause me pain are allowed
