Daily assignments are recorded in your child's planner. As you look at your child's planner each day, you'll see what has been assigned, and what assignments were completed. Completed assignments are "stamped". Missing assignments are stamped with an "Assignment not Complete" stamp.
If your child is not demonstrating the appropriate level of responsibility as a middle school student by writing down the his/her assignments, you may want to discuss this with them and clearly communicate the expectations. If this continues to be a problem, please contact your child's homeroom teacher. We can discuss some strategies to help your child become more responsible in this area and provide you with the vital information you need as a parent.
