Homework Information

Your child should read at LEAST 15 minutes every night. This can be independent reading if they are already reading on their own, shared reading if they can read and sound out words with help, or being read to if they are at the very beginning stages of reading. Feel free to mix this up so that this 15 minutes is a fun time rather than a chore.

This page will keep you informed of any special homework assignments throughout the year.

Homework packets are due on Friday.

High Frequency Word List
Below is a list of the words your child should be able to read and spell correctly.  Words will be added to this list as they appear in the homework packet.  The first 25 words already appear as they are from the kindergarten mastery list. Many of these words will be reviewed through spelling homework but new words will be added as well.
