CLUB
Every other Thursday in the AMS media center about 20 students meet to work on the Akimel A-al Middle School magazine, Ramblin' Rattler. These students are all members of an extra-curricular activity called the Writers' Club. At the first editorial meeting for each issue, all students are invited to pitch an idea for at least one article. We discuss the ideas, and then each student has two weeks to research and write the article. At the second editorial meeting, we discuss each article and choose the ones that will be included in the issue. the editors take the chosen articles and format them into a magazine. The goal is to publish the magazine monthly to be enjoyed by students in Academic Lab. If you would like to be involved in this great activity, contact Mrs. Brewer in the media center.
