Battle of the Bands
In March 2006 student bands rocked the Akimel A-al stage. Student bands set up their drums, plugged in their amps, and tuned their guitars to entertain students and staff. The third annual Battle of the Bands was a celebration of the tremendous success of the book fair sponsored by the media center. Students were given a free ticket to the Battle of the Bands with each book buying visit to the book fair. Akimel A-al parents and siblings were invited to attend this awesome event. We look forward to sponsoring the fourth annual Battle of the Bands in the spring of 2007 in conjunction with our spring Book Fair.
