*  ARIZONA DEPARTMENT of EDUCATION ESL ART CONTEST

The Arizona Department of Education held an art contest open to all ESL students.  Art work was submitted on their behalf and the results are in.  

Congratulations to our Cielo winners!!! 

These pieces of artwork will be printed on the test booklets for the 2009-2010 school year.

-There were 90 schools participating entering about 800 pieces of Art

-We were competing for 8 positions to be on the Arizona State ELL test booklets published by Pearson Publishing.

 And the winners are....................

Anwar G., 1^st grade: Art work is on the Primary ELL test booklets

Lizzy M., 3rd grade: Art is on the cover of the  teacher's manuals
