For this report, you will be creating a 3-D scene that shows about your book.
Directions:
|
- Cut an oval hole in the top and a peephole in the end of the box
|
 |
- Cover all the sides of the outside with paper
- After deciding on the scene you wish to portray, cover the sides and
bottom of the inside of the box to show the background scenery. Show
details - clouds, birds, trees, bushes, drapes, view through windows,
pictures on walls, fireplace, etc.
- Construct small characters and props out of a variety of materials.
Make sure you are able to attach them to the bottom of the box
- Your box will be more exciting if your figures overlap when you look
through the peephole. It creates a three-dimensional effect
|

|
- On the top of the box, put the title, author's name and your name in
bold letters
- Write a three-paragraph summary of the book that highlights the
beginning, middle, and end of the novel. Include the who, what
where, when and why of the story. Put the summary on two
connecting sides of the box
- On the third side on the outside of the box, write a paragraph
describing the scene on the inside of the box
- Remember the fourth side of the box has the peephole - do not put any
writing here
