Required:  Read the book The Enormous Egg and participate in class discussions.  Students will complete quizzes along the way and at the end.  Students who have been paying attention and participating in class discussions will be able to discuss it and earn all of the points.  Students who have not been paying attention will not be able to complete this assignment and earn all of the points.

____________Follow the “How to Draw: Triceratops” directions to draw & color a triceratops(5 pts)

____________ choose 10 vocabulary words that are new- write them in sentences with context clues so the reader 

                         is able to determine the meaning of the words (15 pts)

____________ The Twitchell Family learned many new things when they cared for the egg- create a board game 

                         incorporating some of the facts you have learned from reading The Enormous Egg (15 pts)

____________ Complete the “Call the Doctor!” by using books or the internet  (15 pts)

____________Vocabulary Charades- choose 10 vocabulary words that are new, write down the word and a

                       sentence of how you will act it out, act it out for the class and have them try to guess the words (10 pts)
