About Miss Howard

Hello! I am so excited about this upcoming year in first grade.  This will be my sixth year teaching.  I have had 5 wonderful, successful years and I am looking forward to another fantastic year.  I can't wait to get to know all of my students and develop a safe and inviting classroom for each and every one of them.

I am originally from Illinois, but went to college at  Arizona State University, where I received my BA in Elementary Education.   I have 2 older brothers and 1 twin brother. I enjoy all sports, but my favorite is basketball.  I have coached 4th and 5th grade basketball, which was a blast!! I am really looking forward to this year and hope all of you are as well.

Welcome to our class!

Our Class

I have 20 fabulous students this year. I am so excited to have 3 new students to Waggoner!  It is my hope that these 3 students have a fabulous year and continue their learning with us at Waggoner!  We will participate in many classroom building activities and projects that will help everyone get to know one another easily.  My goal is to make my classroom a safe and inviting environment, so that every student feels acknowledged and special.
