Welcome to Ms. Johnson's
Fifth Grade Class website!
My name
is Megan Johnson, and I am a fifth grade teacher at
Cerritos Elementary School. This is my second year as a
full-time teacher at Cerritos, where I previously taught
second grade. I also have experience teaching fifth
grade as a long-term substitute at Cerritos two years
ago. I really enjoyed my first experience teaching fifth
grade, and I’m excited to be back!
I
graduated from Arizona State in December of 2006 with a
degree in Elementary Education. I grew up in Phoenix,
and am a former student of Kyrene schools, attending
Monte Vista Elementary and Altadeña Middle School. I
enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, and spending time with
my family and friends. I live in Ahwatukee and have a
cat named Pepper.
I am
looking forward to an exciting year with my new class,
and I can’t wait to watch them grow and learn.
