| The art room at Lagos is a place where children are encouraged to use their eyes to really look at the world around them, to develop fine motor skills, to use the elements of art, and to experiment with various media. Line, shape, color, value, space, and form are the language of art. As children participate in hands-on art opportunities, they learn how an artist works. Exposure to art history, aesthetics, and art criticism integrated with studio sessions broaden students' appreciation of art and the role it plays in the human experience. |
