About Mrs. Thompson

 I am a third grade teacher at Waggoner. I am really excited about the 2009-2010 school year. I have been at Waggoner for 19 years.   My husband and I have four wonderful kids. One is our new daughter -in-law. My dog looks like a big teddy bear. His name is Bear. I love to write , read and travel.

Our Class

  I have a wonderful class  of 25 students this year. They are very enthusiastic and creative. They work well in teams .

Some of the projects we will be working on  are community projects, book projects and Civil War Power Points. 

 This year we will continue learning about computers and all the special programs they offer us.  We also have new smart boards that will help us get smarter. It will be a technology fun- filled year.

 We will be attending  touring the Botanical Gardens. It is a fun way to enhance our learning  in science.

Homework

Homework is assigned daily. It will be on the daily calendar. Homework is generally due the next day.  Homework will usually be a math or language assignment.

Special projects will be assigned a few weeks in advance.

Please check homework assignments. It is always better to practice doing things correctly.
