When we first got our caterpillars they looked very small  and then they grew a little bigger.

Then the caterpillars ate  their  food  and they grew al little bigger.

The Caterpillars ate their food and got fatter and they were almost ready.

After the caterpillar is done eating. It gets full and climbs up to the top and curls and  makes  his chrysalis.

Inside  the chrysalis the caterpillars change into butterflies. Then they came out and dried their wings.

This butterfly is drinking an orange with his proboscis. A proboscis is like a straw that butterflies use to drink.
