Vocabulary

The goal of the vocabulary work station
activities is to help students acquire and use new vocabulary in relevant
contexts. |

Advanced Phonics
| The
goal of phonics work station activities is to help students develop and
practice their skills in decoding words using knowledge of phonics,
syllabication, and word parts. |

Fluency
|
The goal of fluency work station activities is to provide
students with the opportunity to practice reading text quickly,
accurately, and with proper expression. |

Comprehension
|
The goal of the comprehension work station activities is to
provide opportunities for students to practice specific strategies to use
for understanding text as they are reading. |

digital workstations on this site were created by Kyrene 3rd-5th grade
teachers.
Some work stations activities are based on the
Florida Center for Reading Research's center activities for 3-5
students. |
