Science Article Summary

Select any article from the past 12 months that involves any area of science that interests you and that is appropriate for school. The article must be at least 5 paragraphs long. If you are unsure if the topic is appropriate, please see me. You can find the article in a newspaper, magazine or online. There must be an author listed. If there is not author on the website, select another article. Duplicate articles will not be allowed – you must find your own article to review. A copy of the article must be attached for a grade. Be prepared to give a 3-5 minute presentation to the class about your article sometime that month.

Oral Presentation

Starting with your second article, you will be graded on your oral presentation. Your speech must be 3-5 minutes in length. Please include the following items in your speech: Title, Author, Source, why you selected the article, summary of the article, most interesting fact from the article, and , how you felt about the article.
