| The various elements of art, line, shape, color, texture, space, and form as studied with the introduction of European artists. We study and create non-objective and objective art. We also cover masks of diverse cultures, pottery of past cultures, and the concept of genre paintings. We explore a variety of techniques in printmaking, painting, and drawing. Students continue to build on their critique skills in art. Art journals are maintained to assist in vocabulary development. | |||
