Homework Contract: Given out on Monday and due back the following Monday.

 (except for nightly math homework which is due the day after it is assigned).

Homework Contract includes:

1.  Nightly reading- Choose 4 nights to read 15 minutes (for a total of at least 60 min/week)

2.  Write a brief summary about one of the books you've read.

3.  Complete nightly math homework (usually one-sided page) and have parents initial after checking.  Return to school each day in red homework folder.

4.  Choose five spelling words to use in 5 meaningful sentences.  Each sentence must have at least 6 words.

5.  Practice addition and subtraction facts using flash cards, websites, oral drills, etc.

6.  Complete class server assignment, when applicable.
