My name is Mrs. Malmin. This is my seventh year teaching third grade. However, I was a permanent guest teacher, a long term substitute, and a regular substitute two years before that. I am an ASU graduate with a B.A. in Education. I have been recognized as a "Highly Qualified" teacher for three years now.
I've lived in Arizona for 16 years and currently live with my husband of eight years, our daughter, Emma, our son, Dhillon, and our cat, Finley, in Chandler.
I look forward to another great year here at Mariposa. Go Challengers!

About Our Class
In our class of 22 students, we have 11 boys and 11 girls.Seven of these students are brand new to Mariposa.
Our diverse group of students makes for a creative and cultured environment where students are accepted for who they are, what they think, and how they feel.
Uninterupted Schedule
Math: 9:35-10:45
Reading: 11:30-12:55
Writing: 1:45-2:25
Homework
Weekly homework is due every Friday with the Signature Sheet signed on the correct date. If this is missing, students will miss Fun Friday.
Additional Math homework is due the day after it is assigned. No signature is required. However, if a student does not turn in his or her homework they will miss a recess. If the homework is still not turned in by the the end of the week, he or she will miss Fun Friday.
