WELCOME TO MRS. KRINGEN'S WEBSITE!

Welcome to Mrs. Kringen’s Fourth Grade! This is my seventh year teaching, six of which have been in fourth grade here at Cerritos. I graduated from the University of Arizona and then pursued my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been extremely fortunate to have had such wonderful leadership opportunities at Cerritos. I was the Student Council Sponsor for three years and was privileged to work with the student body in raising awareness of community needs. Holding Toy Drives for underprivileged schools and facilitating Read-A-Thons for the Hurricane Katrina and Tsunami victims were just some of the amazing ways to reach out to our community.

I currently am the New Teacher Mentor for Cerritos, as well as the New Teacher Mentor for the Altadena region. I love working with adults, as much as I do working with children. I love to see the growth and learning adults make, which led me into teaching at the district level. This is my second year teaching the Differentiated Instruction course at the Kyrene District. I get to work with brand new teachers, as well as veteran teachers. This is a very unique learning opportunity for myself, as well as for them. This is also my second year as an elected Site Council member and am very excited to represent our staff.

Along with my 26 students that I call family, I do have an incredible little girl of my own at home and a very supportive husband. The joy from my students’ growth and learning, as well as the love from my family inspires my teaching each and every day! I am looking forward to sharing in the educational journey with all of you this year!
