Grand Canyon Young Reader's Nominated Books 2008 |

Each year children in Arizona are encouraged to read ten nominated books in four categories: picture, intermediate, non-fiction, and teen. In February librarians around the state offer the children who have read at least five of the books in a category to vote for their favorite book. All votes are tallied from across the state and the book who had the most votes in each category receives the Grand Canyon Young Readers Award. The author is then invited to Arizona to receive the award that fall. |
