Excellence in Math Competition was held on Saturday, January19, 2008, at Chandler Gilbert Community College. Students from Maricopa County participated in this fun, challenging, and exciting math competition.

Congratulations to the following 7^th grade Stars students who won the 2^nd place in the 7th grade team division: Nathaniel Kroeger, Ben Lenshow, Raymie Humbert, Nathan Yiin, and Chris Flores.

Congratulations to Nathaniel Kroeger and Ben Lenshow who placed 4^th and 5^th respectively in the individual competition.

Congratulations to Simona Kovatcheva (8^th grade), Raymie Humbert, and Chris Flores who won the 1^st place in the Jeopardy activity.
