What it looks like in our room...

We learn to use science vocabulary as we do science experiments.

We made predictions before we put an egg into vinegar...

Then we observed what happened and wrote up our results.

(The egg got very WEIRD.)

We did some experiments with plants, too.

We used food color to see how stems carry water up a celery stalk...

...all the way up to the leaves (this was blue food color).

We tried growing bean plants in the dark and in the light - look at the difference!

But after the 'dark' beans got some light...they turned green!

We learned to take care of our own plants...

...so we could take them home, where they just kept on growing!
