This is my fifth year teaching 6th grade in the Kyrene School District, my third at Pueblo Middle School. I enjoy being part of the bulldog community!
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and arrived in Phoenix in 1998. Teaching language arts is my second career. I spent over ten years in the human resources field and five years in franchising.
I
graduated from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles with my B.A. in Business
Administration and received my
post-baccalaureate teaching certificate from Arizona State University.
Saturday mornings you can usually find me hitting the yard sales (I'm a fanatic). In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book and watching a good movie. I also love to grow herbs in my garden, exercise my brain with jigsaw puzzles and exercise my body with water aerobics. My favorite food is cotton candy--freshly spun, of course!
You are your child's primary educator. I'm here to help you in that endeavor. Please feel free to contact me at (480) 783-2410 or drop me an e-mail at despinosa@kyrene.org.
