This is my very first year teaching! I received my Bachelor's from Arizona State University in biology while minoring in spanish. I went back to school to receive my teaching certficate. While I was doing that, I student taught at Sureno in a first grade classroom. I just loved it! The staff was great and the students were awesome! As you can imagine, I jumped at the chance to work at this fabulous school.
I am not married (not yet anyway). I have been dating my wonderful boyfriend for 7 years (we met in a Latin dance class at ASU!). I am the youngest of 3 children, and I cannot wait until I can buy a house so I can get a dog!!!

I have been in the Kyrene School District for 2 years. I transferred from Monte Vista Elementary School where I did playground and cafeteria duty. I was also an instructional assistant in the morning and afternoon kindergarten class. I have 2 daughters, Jessica in the 3rd grade and Alyssa in 6th. I look forward to meeting all of you.
