We do our reading and writing centers everyday except Tuesday when we are in the computer lab.  Two centers are teacher guided (new strategies introduced and skills are practiced).  One rotation is individual.  While we are rotating between these stations, a group of students is rotating to their rotations.  Rotations are art, listening, computer, and math. By the end of the week, each student will have been to each rotation.  The kids love this part of the day.  It's a mix of serious work and fun work!

For reading, we use Harcourt Trophies.  This is the approved curriculum for the Kyrene School District.  We spend time everyday doing activities from this book.  Activities are reading, writing, phonemic awareness, our daily message, etc.
