 Hi, my name is Tony Santillan. I’m the full time physical education specialist at Kyrene de la Mirada School. I’m a native of Arizona. My wife Esther and I live in Tempe. Esther is a first grade teacher for the Kyrene School District.  We have two children, Andrea and Joseph.  I enjoy spending time with my family, running, swimming, golfing, and teaching. 

I’ve been teaching elementary physical education for twenty-five years. I received my B.A. from Arizona State University and my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I am currently serving as the Kyrene School District’s Elementary Physical Education School Mentor. In 1991, I was the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) Southwest District Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year.

 

 

I'm Ellen McClure and this is my first year here at Mirada.  I have so far enjoyed teaching the classes I have here.  I am also teaching at Brisas Elementary and the Casa Vida home school classes.  I am a graduate of Arizona State University.  I am married  and have three children.  My husband Lance was a teacher in Mesa for twenty-eight years and is currently retired.  We have enjoyed being active all our lives.  We currently walk, jog, bike ride and do weight lifting.  I look forward to having Mirada parents come observe or participate in their child's class.
