Happy Fall!
We are well on our way into the school year! First quarter is nearly over, and we have gotten into some very productive routines and we remember our schedule most of the time. Mrs. DiCosmo, our new principal, and Mr. Gibson, our new assistant principal have been so supportive in getting used to rules and expectations. Maryanne Jimenez, Cerritos' resource teacher, is also getting used to Cerritos and is doing a tremendous job.
I am still taking many classes toward my administrative certificate. I have also taken some . The emphasis has been technology, so I am using a bit more technology in resource this year.
Thanks for your continued support in helping your children with their homework. Homework is meant for practice, so please spend enough time to learn but not so much time that they get frustrated. It's just extra practice, so pick your battles at home, and keep me in the loop if things are not going well with homework. Don't stress out and don't stress the kids out.
