About Annette Gray-O'Leary

Ms. Annette Gray-O'Leary taught regular education and English as a Second Language for two years at a charter school in Mesa. She taught self-contained special education working with children with emotional disabilities at Kyrene de las Manitas. She taught special needs preschool at Kyrene de la Estrella before landing at Cerritos elementary. She did her undergraduate studies at Arizona State University and has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education specializing in Spanish. She has a Masters degree in Special Education - Cross Categorical Studies from University of Phoenix. She has extensive experience in language development from both a first and second language perspective. She is divorced and has two children of her own, Haylee (7) and Trey (9). Her son, Trey, has special needs in Ms. Stephanie's room. Although she was teaching Special Education prior to knowing about his difficulties. His special needs motivated her to continue teaching special education, and her personal experiences as a mother of a child with special needs fuel her passion for working with your child each day at school.
