Teacher Information I am a graduate from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I graduated in May of 2005 and have been teaching second grade ever since. I have been living in the Phoenix area for most of my life. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with Mr. Kremlacek, my daughter Leigha, and my dog, Hannah. We like to stay active outdoors by going hiking, running, and swimming.

Homework Spelling: Practice done for spelling needs to be recorded and turned in each Friday. I will be checking the progress of the spelling practice each morning. The golden sheet needs to be completed and turned in by Friday. Nothing needs to be recorded for Monday. Reading: Students will bring home a book at the start of each week. They will need to read the book and do a response on the provided paper. The book needs to be turned in along with the response by the next day. Reading Log: Students should be doing regular nightly reading. The goal for each week is 1 hour. The students need to keep up with the reading log and have it signed for the time to count towards their total. For each hour completed in a week, the student will receive a sticker on their chart towards an incentive. Math: Students will bring home a guide of what they should be practicing at home for our math objectives weekly. These practices need to be turned in. *All homework is expected to come back completed and turned in the following morning at the start of the school day. *All homework is directly related to our objectives in class.
