Happy Friday!
Dear Parents,

We had another successful week and I am so proud of the class for all their hard work. It is so fun to see the kids writing, math, and reading skills improving on a daily basis.

This week that class did a nice job of working independently on their reading stations. They were able to do research on the computer and learn how to put facts into their own words. This is an impressive skill for second graders! :)

Please keep on sending in those Box Tops!. Our bucket has been empty for a while! :

Homework packets are due next Friday.  Please  TAKE OFF THE PINK SPELLING LIST so your child can continue their spelling practice if they turn their packet in early.  Also, make sure the packet is stapled and YOUR CHILD'S NAME IS ON THE FRONT.  I can't thank you enough for your help with this! :)

CHECK IT OUT!

Have your child share their Johnny Appleseed puppet with you. They did a nice job researching John Chapman on the computer.
