Tasks

To successfully complete this WebQuest you must complete the following tasks:

1. Read an historical fiction book set in the Colonial/Revolutionary War period.
2. Accept the job assigned to you by your teacher as a member of a newspaper staff (small group of 3 or 4) during the Colonial/Revolutionary War period.
3. Conduct a “staff” meeting with your group to brainstorm ideas for a name for your newsletter as well as for each of your assignments. The roles will include an editor, reporter(s), advertising manager.
4. Write or type your specific contribution to the newspaper.
5. Using Microsoft Publisher, collaboratively, create the newsletter.
6. Create a group bibliography of all resources used in completing this assignment.
