About Dana Westermann
Dana Westermann, the Assistant Principal at Lagos Elementary, is from St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her BS in Education at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, a MaED in Curriculum and Technology, as well as a MaEd in Leadership and Administration at the University of Phoenix. Dana married her high school sweetheart, David and they have two boys: Beck is 12 (a seventh grader at Altadena Middle School), and Max is 8 years old (a third grader at Sierra).

Dana’s accomplishments include racing in 6 marathons, 5 triathlons and many other various races. She also climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, biked across the Northern part of Scotland, and taught herself how to knit.
She likes hiking, swimming, running, reading, 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, and watching really bad reality TV.
One of Dana's favorite things is working with the staff at her school and getting to know the amazing students who attend Lagos. She thinks that she has the greatest job of all!
