The highest average temperatures occur in July with highs averaging 103.6 degrees and lows at 71.2 degrees. Yearly, Guadalupe averages a high of 84.1 degrees, a low of 49.7 degrees and an average rainfall of 7.77 inches.

 Guadalupe is primarily a residential community with retail and service businesses catering both to locals and visitors. The community has two commercial districts. Along Baseline Road and 1-10 are several restaurants and hotels. Along Guadalupe's main street, Avenida Del Yaqui, is another commercial area which caters primarily to local and pedestrian traffic. It is here that in 1983, El Tianguis, a bright blue Mexican-style shopping square, opened with restaurants and shops offering products from south of the border.
