IMPORTANT C.I. WAGGONER MPR ROOF INFO
On Monday, March 16th the roof in the multi purpose room at
Waggoner Elementary School in Tempe collapsed. We continue to
seek information about how this happened and will share it with
the community as soon as it become available. While all answers
are not known at this time, you'll see below a set of
Frequently Asked Questions.
On Tuesday March 17th, Superintendent Dr. David Schauer met with
the Parent Superintendent Council (PSC) and answered as many
questions as he could. (PSC is a group of parents that represent
all the PTO's and PTA's in the Kyrene district.) On Wednesday
morning, March 18th a meeting was held with the Waggoner
Elementary PTO and parents had many more questions.
These will be added soon.
On Wednesday, March 18 a letter went home with every
Kyrene student about the situation and a copy of that letter is
below.
Please don't hesitate to contact the Kyrene School District
should you have
further questions, comments or suggestions.
