About Mr. Wallace

This is my 17th year at Waggoner school and my third year teaching 5th grade. I am having a great time so far. I was Waggoner's computer teacher for 10 years and hope to include technology as much as possible into the curriculum.

Our Class

I have a terrific group of 28 fifth graders this year who are energetic and ready to learn.  They are really working together and helping each other as they learn all the fifth grade skills.  Our class has many strengths in a lot of different areas like reading, math, language, spelling, science and computers.

Class Schedule

In the mornings we start out with math and then we have our specials in the early part of the day. This is followed by either social studies or science. We then have lunch at 11:30 and either science or silent reading after. After lunch, the afternoons are dedicated to reading, language and writing.

Homework

Homework will usually be assigned on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with the expectation that they are to be turned in by thenext day. The homework will generally consist of spelling packets,  math pages (double sided) and a language pages. All homework will be listed in the students' agendas so please check them daily.
