About Mrs. Thompson

 I am a third grade teacher at Waggoner. I am really excited about the 2008-2009 school year. I have been at Waggoner for 18 years.   My husband and I have four wonderful kids. One is our new daughter -in-law. My dog looks like a big teddy bear. His name is Bear. I love to write , read and travel.

Our Class

  I have a wonderful class  of 24 students this year. They are very creative and eager to learn. They are very supportive of each other and enjoy working in teams.

Some of the projects we will be working on  are community projects and Civil War Power Points. 

 This year we will continue learning about computers and all the special programs they offer us.  It will be a technology fun- filled year.

We have two wonderful field trips planned. We will be attending a musical play and touring the Botanical Gardens.

Homework

Homework is assigned daily. It will be on the daily calendar. Homework is generally due the next day.  Homework will usually be a math or Language assignment.

Special projects will be assigned a few weeks in advance.

Please check homework assignments. It is always better to practice doing things right.
