About Ms. Hurst
I am so excited to be here again at Waggoner for my fourth year of teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from Arizona State University in May 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Sociology.
I grew up in Tucson, AZ, but I have lived here in Tempe for four years. I enjoy running, hiking, reading, and watching movies. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and my puppy named Bella!

I am blessed with 23 amazing students
in my class this year. We are a class that shows character and
strive to do our best. We work well as a team and support each
other. I am convinced this will be a fun and successful year!

Homework
Homework is an important way to reinforce and introduce concepts that are taught in class. Homework will usually be given only on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Math homework will be given on Tuesdays and Thursdays and language homework will be given on Wednesdays. Homework is expected to be turned in the day after it is assigned and completed neatly.
