Meet Miss Dorsett
Hello! I am so excited to teach another wonderful year of second graders! This is my 10th year at Waggoner. Over the last nine years I have taught both first and second grades as well as multiage. I have a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy at Arizona State University where I also received a reading endorsement. When I am not teaching, I enjoy scuba diving, traveling, hiking, running and spending time outdoors with family and friends! Of course, shopping and spa adventures are also some of my favorite things to do in my free time!
Our Class
We have a lively and energetic class! We have 21 wonderful students in our room this year! We enjoy reading together, writing and sharing our stories, performing reader's theatres, working with math manipulatives, and exploring interesting science activities. We are very bright and active learners who are full of smiles!

Homework
Homework packets are given on Monday and need to be turned in by Friday. This packet includes language activities, math activities, and reading fun! Students are expected to read 20 minutes a day, three to four days a week as well as practice math facts three times a week. Have Fun!
