About Miss Dedrick

Hello Waggoner Families!  I am so excited to be teaching in second grade this year.  This will be my fourth year at this wonderful school.  I am beginning my third year in second grade.  I spent my first year at Waggoner in first grade and was lucky enough to move up to second grade the following year.  I am so happy to working with such a great team this year!!  I have grown up in Tempe for the last 24 years.  I attended Waggoner, KMS and Corona del Sol High School. I graduated from Arizona State in May of 2004 with my BA in Elementary Education. I come from a very athletic family and I am blessed to be surrounded by sports.  I am a huge college football fan and I now have an even bigger reason to love the sport.  My youngest brother Doug is now at Iowa State playing football for the Cyclones!!

Our Class

I have 22 amazing and energetic students this year.  This years class keeps me on my toes!  I am anticipating a successful year for each and every one of my kiddos.  My goal for this year is that each of my students will succeed in their own creative way.  To achieve these goals, I will provide a learning environment that will have students working together.  Lastly, I want to create classroom that is a safe and inviting environment for all who walk through the door.
